Creative Wedding -Todd & Norah - 7

We were married January 7, 2006 and did everything ourselves... Prepared and cooked middle eastern cuisine for 150 people... baked our own wedding cake.. created and designed the decor of 1000 folded cranes, we folded ourselves. Used color schemes of Red (female) Blue (male) and Purple (Spirit)...We wrote and designed our own invitiations... Honored 150 requests for music and arranged it into different themes for each room: The Moon Room = jazz, wedding cake, conversation and self serving bar. Sun Room = Wedding Ceremony, Dinner, socializing to folk/country/acoustic music. Star Room = Dance, party music, games and movies. As our guests arrived they were seated in the Sun Room while we had various movie themes of music playing. During the ceremony we had live classical music. The readings were taken from an ecclectic array of faiths from Hindu to Christianity, Native American, Buddhist, Shinto, and Muslim. We honored our mothers and the Mother Goddess with flowers and symbolism. The whole experience was created, designed and implemented by Todd and Norah as an example of our relationship and faith to one another and the earth. (Filmed and produced by Jeff Hayashi)
